Greyson’s bone marrow biopsy came back yesterday and it showed that Greyson IS in remission! We are so relived to have finally made remission and we can now move forward with his bone marrow transplant! The transplant will likely take place in mid-February with his sister, Norah as his donor. It will be preceded by several long tests up in Atlanta that will take place at the end of January.
In the meantime, Greyson is doing another 28 days of the Blina Infusion (same thing he did last month) to keep his cancer away until the transplant. He has a 48 hr stay in our local hospital to start the infusion and then he will be home with the infusion, only coming to clinic to change his port and the medicine bag once a week. All of this will be followed by another Bone Marrow Biopsy which will also have to be negative for cancer before we can proceed with the transplant.
Thank you all so much for your continued love, prayers, and support 🧡🎗️
