Greyson remains critically ill today per the doctor’s report. His liver numbers have gone up a bit and his bilirubin continues to climb.
The cultures have not grown anything yet and they are continuing him on all of his steroids, antibiotics, antivirals, and antifungals.
The MRI of his sinuses did not show any signs of fungal or mold infection in his sinuses. They did not expect to find any but are glad it was negative.
He had an ultrasound this morning to check again if his gallstones were causing an obstruction. They are not so there is nothing to do there at the moment.
Last night his temp was 93.5. They put the bear hugger on him again and was able to get his temp up. So far, it has remained stable. Low temps can be a sign of infection but they had already drawn cultures earlier in the day so they did not need to do anything in that regard.
His kidney numbers have gotten a little worse as well so they are going to call nephrology and have them start following him as well.
The goal today is to keep him comfortable, and pray his liver numbers and bilirubin start to level out. 💚🧡🎗️
