Greyson seemed to be in pain yesterday evening.  They tried giving him morphine but it did not seem to help.  He did fall asleep around midnight which is a lot better than the night before.   This morning he’s been awake and alert.  Throughout the morning he’s been coughing pretty continuously and that is making him very uncomfortable.  He FaceTimed Dad for a bit and is now calm and resting for the time being. 

 

They weaned his oxygen overnight but he is having consistent desats today so they went back up on his oxygen. 

 

They started him on steroids last night to start treating his liver for GVHD.  His liver numbers and bilirubin are worse again today and he is looking very jaundice. 

 

In a bit, he will be heading down to IR to get his port replaced. He will be intubated for the surgery but will hopefully be extubated and back on bipap later today.  💚🧡🎗️
