We are continuing to exercise Greyson’s lungs today.   He was not triggering his own breaths this morning but once they lowered the set respiratory rate, he started to trigger his own breaths.  

 

They are going to put him back on the CPAP setting on the ventilator to continue to exercise his lungs. 

 

They are going to slowly increase his feeds and see if he will tolerate them.  If so, they would like to wean him off of his TPN. 

 

His chest x-ray looks the same but they are concerned there may be an infection somewhere that they are not seeing.  They have switched his antibiotics to cover a wider range, and drawn more cultures just to be safe. 💚🧡🎗️
