Greyson had some low blood pressures yesterday and had to be put back on the medication to raise his BP. Today his blood pressure is better and he was able to come off of that medication again.
We are on Day 3 of engraftment and he is able to come off of the medication that was encouraging him to make his own cells. His ANC is very high so we are thankful for white bloods cells that can help him fight his infections!
He is retaining fluid again (as opposed to yesterday where he was too dry) so they are giving him lasix to help him remove the fluid.
His liver is slowly improving and his bilirubin is going down. This is likely due to his new cells. 💚
They have talked about doing a CPAP trial (still on the ventilator) today but they have not done one yet. They want to let his body practice breathing again and gain more strength so we can start moving toward extubation. 💚🧡🎗️
