Greyson is stable today so far. Though he has not really roused since he had his CT yesterday so they are going to back off of his sedation and hopefully he will start moving soon.

His jaundice is really bad today. They believe his climbing bilirubin is due to his gallstones but said they can’t do anything about the gallstones right now.

He was definitely in septic shock but is slightly improved today.  He is completely off of his blood pressure (raising) medications for now. They are going to go up on his vent settings and try to keep him comfortable.

He has not had a fever or low temp so far today so we are thankful for that.

He has some fluid around his heart.  Right now they are just keeping a close eye on this.

Today, they will be giving the medicine that will help his body make cells to encourage engraftment.  When his white blood cells come in and start doing what they are supposed to do, he may get worse for a time. It would be good to have his body working to help heal him.

They are going to do a biopsy of his rash so they can get a better understanding of what it is.

His lungs look the same as yesterday.  The CT showed that his sinusitis is worse.  ENT is going to come by and do another scope.  They are concerned this is a fungal infection and want ENT to take a look.   They are also discussing doing a full bronchoscope if he does not improve in the next couple of days.  The bronchoscope is highly risky for him so it is not encouraging that they are discussing moving forward with it.  💚🧡🎗️
