Friends & Family,
Jeremy met with the neuro surgeon on Monday. He was given the go ahead to walk a lot, as part of rehab - so we have been doing lots of walking! Finding a sustainable pace together, down the road, at the Rocky River Reservation. The combination of nature and movement is a powerful healing balm.
As Jeremy & I walk and talk together, our hearts our flooded with gratitude for each of you. The continued outpouring of support through calls, texts, beats for Jer to write to, financial gifts, meals, visits, hugs, prayers…it is nourishing something deep in us and greater than anyone one of us. It is the most humbling reminder of the power of community and our inter-connectedness.
For now, we are finding our pace, yearning to still live from a place of rest, yet challenged by the practical activities that follow such events: doctor visits, insurance adjusters, contractors, quotes, lots of calls & emails…along with day-to-day life. This upheaval is not unique to us, but it’s very real for us right now. If you know us, you know having restful rhythms is a core value. We ask you to continue to hold us in your hearts/thoughts/prayers as we find the slower pace we need for full healing, in the midst of all the logistics.
Thank you each and all for your love and support - it means more than you know 💖
