Hello Friends and Family!!
It’s 3 1/2 weeks post tree-fall. The PT has Jeremy doing planks and daily long walks, although still no twisting/turning of the torso. He may not be able to play tennis but the US Open is keeping him inspired and entertained (honestly, tennis is on year round in our home. Right when I think the season is done, they do indoor tournaments!) Jer is slightly comforted that even the tennis greats have to recover from injuries…he’ll have his comeback too!

In other news our house repairs could use some PT of their own! We have a tarped roof, but to keep things exciting (and please take note, I’d be just fine with less excitement for a while 😅), water is still finding its way through and dripping through the kitchen ceiling. Water mitigation had to open up the ceiling and is waiting for it all to dry. Then porch, fence, siding, garage damage…in good time, in good time. I consider myself a patient human. But I admit I’m feeling stretched. Thank you, God, for laughter.
In love and laughter,
Hansi
