We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the love, prayers, messages, and generosity that have poured in over the last week. And then this. In just one day, this community has raised nearly $50,000, and we are truly at a loss for words. Your support is carrying us through one of the hardest moments of our lives, and we feel it in every possible way.Β

We wanted to share a small update, because so many of you have asked and cared so deeply:Β

Last night was a quiet night, and that alone felt like a gift. Chelsea is being gently and carefully stepped down from her sedation and pain medications, with great intention and caution, so her body can adjust safely.Β

She had her linens changed and even got a Valentine‑red head wrap to replace the plain white one covering her EEG leadsβ€”such a small thing, but so her. It took a small army of nurses and staff to make it happen since moving her is no small task, and it was a beautiful reminder of how incredible her care team is. They truly love her and are doing everything they can to protect not just her health, but her dignity, comfort, and her girly spirit.Β

And then came a moment of hope that made all of us smileβ€”Chelsea coughed during vent care. It may not look like much from the outside, but the respiratory therapist was genuinely excited. Tiny signs. Big hope.Β

To everyone who has donated, shared, prayed, checked in, or simply held Chelsea in their thoughts: thank you. Your kindness is making a real difference, and we feel so deeply supported and surrounded. We will never forget this. We hope to use this site for future updates as well.

With love and gratitude,Β
Michael, Kara and CullenΒ
