The Brave Four Responder Relief
The first responders are only receiving a portion of their pay while they are out on medical leave and have incurred unexpected expenses.
Several of them worked extra shifts and extra jobs to make ends meet as it was, so having an unexpected reduced income has put a big burden on them while they should be focused on healing.
Here is the list of injuries sustained:
🚨Deep bruising in leg, need PT, pneumonia in lung from impact, road rash, mental health
🚨Torn pec, poss. torn MCL, bulging disc in back, torn tissue lower back, road rash, mental health
🚨Nerve damage in hand, severe concussion, road rash, mental health
🚨torn rotator cuff, displaced bicep tendon, whiplash, broken nose, mental health
All are receiving ongoing medical care to recover from the accident.
Updates:
3 will be out of work for 4-6 months
1 has returned to work light duty with follow up on the 26th
3 others 1 to multiple surgeries to repair tendons, shoulders, nasal fractures.
