DAY 2 - A kinky mom’s heartfelt plea to her community 

I am absolutely humbled and so so incredibly thankful by the outpouring of uninhibited support and love that you all have shown!!

There are accusations and questions, even from fellow Fetlife members, about why would I fight so hard to be “kinky” when my kids are stake!!! “It’s just FetLife! It’s just sex! It’s just a BDSM event! Why won’t you just do what they say and get rid of it so that your kids can come home!” I see you. I hear you. I accept and understand why this could be such an emotional trigger for so many people. So even though I do not owe anyone an answer, I’m happy to give one.

The answer is quite simple really, and the answer is this… 

🚨📢I AM NOT FIGHTING TO BE KINKY! 📢🚨

I am fighting to be MYSELF!! Because myself is what has grown my kids into the amazing little humans they already are and I am the only one who can take them the rest of the way!! 

I am not fighting to advocate for my children against their father! I am fighting for my children to have the right to advocate for themselves!  They do not need a bunch of crotchety old scared, naïve adults to advocate for them when they are more in tune with life and emotional maturity than all three of their supposed advocates combined!! 

That is why this is not just about me and my kids any more!!! I am ready to go to WAR so that me, my kids, you, and everyone else like US don’t have to find themselves in my shoes EVER AGAIN!!!! 

The next and most important question is  “Why you Katie? Why do you have to be the one? Your kids are at risk of being taken!!  Stop being Captain Save-A-Hoe and just give them what they want so your kids can come home.”

Again, a very valid question and AGAIN, the answer is simple… 

It’s me because it HAS to be me. it also has to be right now!! 

While I am completely and OBVIOUSLY emotionally invested because these are my children that we are talking about and I would literally burn the world down to save them; I have all of you in my corner to love and support me in the areas that I am lacking!! Right now, that is time, money, and notability!!!!! So that is what we need with this campaign!

Help me with the time, money, or sharing my story in any way you can as long as it’s FAR, WIDE, and FAST!!!!! 

I am beyond capable of fighting for our community just like all of you!!!! The ONLY thing that differentiates me from any of you is that I am ACTIVELY faced with the opportunity to impact change AND I am willing to do so! That’s the only difference between us and why I’m asking for your backing instead of the other way around!! 

They say if you want to change the world you have to start in your own backyard so that is what I am doing. 

First, we will get my kids back and then we will all change the world. This is why I am asking for people to rally around me!! Let me be the warrior in this war that I have always known I was meant to be!!! 

I am going to try and post updates daily! I promise to do my best to keep communication open and transparent through this process. As soon as my kids are no longer in danger of custody issues, I will happily share all of the details of the case with personal information redacted because I will bleed my soul dry of vulnerability if that is the cost of a better life for my kids in the future.

I am so very thankful to each and every one of you that are on this journey with me! I may not know you and you may not know me, but just know that I’ve got you! I see you for exactly who you are and I accept you for exactly who you are! Will you do the same for me?
