Ok, here we go... Since they tried the stent procedure (surgery 3) and had to stop because they discovered his tube was completely severed. They woke him up and talked to us about the procedure where they put a tube in his side into the kidney. They weren't positive it was going to work. However, he just got back to the room from surgery 4 and praise the Lord! They got it in!!! He has a nephrostomy bag now for several weeks or months until he's strong enough for another surgery where they will have to reconstruct his bladder tubing (if that makes sense). They just had the lung doctor here to start doing treatments on his lungs, specifically the collapsed lung and they were hopeful they can get it healthy again. Now he needs to heal and start fighting the infection. Hopefully without all of the urine in there, the infection will be easier to treat. But finally something good happened today! God is great and He is our Savior! Thank you Jesus!
