Update on Coop - September 5, 2026

This update comes directly from Nic! So thankful for what God is doing and her being able to share her heart 💗 - 

We had a BIG day yesterday! Coop finally got up in his chair and got some sunshine. Primrose and Bridges had a great time riding around with him too.

Please continue to pray for Coop to get restful sleep and for the doctors to figure out how to keep his mind clear in and out of sleep.

Now for the best part! Yesterday afternoon I was reading my Nana’s Bible to Coop. As I laid it down, the nurse tech asked if we were Christians. I told her yes and she said she was too. She said God laid it on her spirit to tell me that Coop is going to be alright and he’s going to walk out of here. This is the second day in a row God has sent someone completely unexpected to tell me this and encourage me to walk by faith and not by sight. I am so overwhelmed by the love that He has for us that He would care so much to do this for me.

I just want to encourage anyone who thinks God doesn’t care or He doesn’t see you to know that His heart hurts with ours. He loves you more than you can fathom and He is with you and He is for you! Don’t lose the faith. The reward is worth the wait.

For anyone that maybe doesn’t even know if Jesus was real or that God exists, I’m here to tell you He is real, He created you, He died for you so that you could live. He loves you and wants a personal relationship with you. He will change your life for the better if you will just surrender and follow His Word. That doesn’t mean you won’t walk through the valley, but your hope will be in Him and He will never leave your side. Please continue to ask questions, God can handle it. He did it for Coop and He can do it for you. Seek and you will find.

Cooper and I have always prayed God would use us as His vessels to bring others to Him. If even one person finds Jesus through this valley of ours, it would all be worth it. This is why we are on earth, to point others to the only one who can save them, Jesus. To God alone be the glory. Coop’s story, God’s glory.
