Progress Update on Coop! - 08/28/2026

Update for today:

Coop looked so much better today and a lot more like himself. He can talk a lot better and his spirits are high. The PT worked him hard, but he was able to play catch with a stress ball with him and had a lot of progress!

We finally got the results back from the MRI that was checking for lumbar issues and everything looked great! He also had a chest x-ray and that looked great as well!

Every day he is progressing and God’s hand is evident. As one of our friend’s said, “His glory, Coop’s story”. We love all of you and are thankful for each and every one of you!

Shepherd Spinal Center is the absolute best place for recovery. Do all you can to get him there. Many prayers to your family as i have been on this journey myself.

So thankful for the good progress and that Cooper was accepted to Shepherd Clinic. I have a family member and a close friend who were patients there. They do amazing things there!

Love to hear about Cooper's MRI and chest x-ray results. And of course his big lion-heart is helping push through PT with his amazing attitude and optimism. Keep fighting the good fight, Cooper!
