With your help, and the help of some others offline, we have been able to catch up on our missing mortgage payments. This is still a long road as the credit cards have all fallen behind, and the vehicle payments are just too steep for our income at this time. We are working on trying to refinance the vehicle to try to lower payments, but because we are behind on all credit card payments, refinancing is not looking like an option. I didn't realize how expensive it is to do small repairs to your home in order to prepare it for selling, either. I guess when you don't have extra, anything is expensive. I have been going through the house trying to sell things we no longer need, and while I have been able to sell a few things, it's just not getting us where we need to be.
