Happy Sunday morning!  I wish   was able to go to church this morning and see many of your smiling faces and faithful hearts. Its possible i can attend in 3 to 4 weeks.  Getting out of my condo is a huge task and one that cannot be done alone.  Soon enough.
So i decided against the MRI last week because i dont feel i need one.  I could be wrong, but my pain in the knee has gone from a 9 to about a 2 in these past few weeks.  I am scheduled for a second opinion on friday with new insurance (no more kaiser) and new orthopedic doctor with Piedmont Orthopedic.  Im eager to see what he says.
I had my two week post op appointment for my heel and stiches were removed.  I am still non weight bearing on that leg.  I also had my blood work done again that day and it showed my liver enzymes looking better and WBC normal now as well.  Whew.
I was finally able to wash said foot on Friday, after 5 weeks of it being underwraps, literally.   Look at all the wrinkles!! Ewwww.  It's looking a tad more normal today after lots of fresh air and arnica. What a month!
I was unsure if I would stay with Kaiser surgeon for post op care now that my insurance is changing on Wednesday.   I learned that my care with the acting surgeon is covered for 90 days and scheduling with a Piedmont foot and ankle specialist would incur many more copays and fees.  So from a money standpoint,  staying with her is whats best.  I just hope my healing is without anymore complications.  🙏
I will post about my orthopedic appointment next weekend.   I understand I picked one of the best!
Much love and thanks to all of you who have followed my posts prayed for me, called and messaged me, given us rides,  sent cards on top of cards, sent gift cards 😊 and cash for all of this mess.  I am so touched by all of the support.   It allows me to keep from stressing out so much and instead I am able to focus on healing and resting.   I am forever grateful.

We all miss you at church too. Praying you'll be able to get there in 3 to 4 weeks and that you continue to heal without complications. It's such good news that you don't have much pain in your knee. Continued prayers for you and your family.
