I saw the surgeon today who confirmed that my incision is completely healed.  Then she pulls out the blade and scrapes at it again.  She then tells me i am safe to have a pedicure after Thanksgiving.   Woo hoo!  No more blades! I will be in the boot for another 4 weeks and i have found that i am not strong enough to do my job yet.  I helped some yesterday at Legacy and paid for it last night.  I have had 2 physical therapy appointments already and have another next week and then I go to twice a week.  The strength in my legs is not good yet so I will keep working on that and still continue  to use the wheelchair  a whole longer.
