It’s hard to believe it’s been almost three weeks since Silas’ diagnosis. What a tough three weeks it’s been. 🧡 Chemo and all its side effects have really taken a toll on our boy, but today was the first day he’s felt okay, and we’re holding on tight to that little bit of light.

In this photo, Silas is receiving one of his chemo treatments. We are beyond grateful for the incredible medical team guiding us every step of the way. They have answered every question, every message, every call with so much care.

We were told the next phase of treatment next month will be a bumpy ride, but we’re taking it one day at a time. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. Your words, support, texts, FaceTimes, and messages mean more than we can ever express. We’ll continue to share updates here and on our Instagram page. 🧡 #SilasStrong

Hi. My name is Adoni Martinez. I am Jonah Martinez's mom. Jonah and Silas have History and ELA at La Loma together. Jonah mentioned that Silas was sick and we wanted to do something to help. I reached out to the school and they shared your link with me. We lost our oldest son December 29th 2023 to a sickness we didn't know he had and hearing about Silas made us want to reach out. We are praying for healing for Silas but also praying for strength for you as parents during this trial you are facing. God bless Sila, you, and your family.
