We are deeply grateful to have received our first donation!!!
I have been booted from Medicaid with pending diagnostic imaging needed to confirm the diagnosis of my right breast. I have been accepted into the Volunteers in Medicine program and hope to have a new date set for those screenings very soon. The probability is high, as there is a family history (on both sides) of breast cancer. To say that I am scared is an understatement, and it is adding a tremendous amount of anxiety to my already debilitating anxiety issues.
We continue to need help! We have reached out to area churches and outreach organizations locally and not yet received any affirmative support from any of them.
