I truly appreciate everyone who has been following along on this journey. My friends who have started and still run this page have been incredibly busy, but we have all talked and realized we are definitely way overdue for an update… although in some ways, that may be a bit of a blessing in disguise, because not much has changed. 

 

I also just want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. The meals, the donations, the messages, the prayers… I see it, I feel it, and it has carried not only me, but our family, through some really hard days. I don’t have the words to fully express how much it means to us. 

 

As for where things are at right now….I’ve completed 6 full chemo treatments. I still have 2 upcoming hospital stays that will each be 4 days long for a very intense dose of medication that has to be monitored around the clock to make sure my organs are handling it the way they should. After those, I’ll have 2 more partial treatments, followed by more radiation talk depending on results. 

 

We are still very much in the middle of this fight, and there’s more ahead than behind right now. 

 

As I continue to focus on getting through treatments and staying strong, the reality behind the scenes is that the bills haven’t slowed down. They’re continuing to come in and are starting to pile up, which has been overwhelming.
