On Thursday afternoon Evan started experiencing severe pain in his abdomen. This sometimes happens if he eats too much, or the wrong thing, so we waited, hoping the discomfort would finally pass. The next morning it was still there, so we called the doctor who told us to take him to the emergency room. He was given a CT scan, and was initially told by the ER doctor that he had an obstruction and would be admitted for a few days in hopes that his intestines would relax and correct themselves, however, when the surgeon looked at the scans she ordered immediate surgery fearing the blood supply to the bowels could be cut off causing part of the bowel to die. Thank God they were able to untwist his intestines and did not need to remove any more bowel. She said he would be hospitalized for 3 or 4 days. Thank you all for your love and prayers. God has shown us his nearness through so many of you

Β No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
