🧸Day 80
We got some encouraging news today that feels like a step forward.

➡️ Chimerism: Teddie’s bone marrow came back 100% donor cells across all lines! This means her donor marrow has fully taken over, which is exactly what we’ve been praying for. No more stray Teddie cells lurking around.

➡️ MRD (measurable residual disease): Negative! This test looks for any leftover leukemia cells, and there were none detected. They even noted that the “suspicious” cells seen on her last test are gone.

➡️  DNA Test: We’re still waiting on the most sensitive test, which offers an even deeper look. It should come back sometime next week. So far, though, things are pointing in the right direction.

➡️ GVHD & Liver: Teddie has a bit of skin graft-versus-host disease of the skin and mild liver irritation (likely related). It’s a sign that her donor immune system is active but we don’t want it to get out of hand. She’s starting a topical steroid cream for her skin, and we’ll keep a close eye on everything. The goal is to manage it well without needing to go back on oral steroids.

Today’s good news is another reminder of God’s presence with us. “His mercies are new every morning; great is His faithfulness.” Through each test result, every moment of waiting, and every bump in the road or step of recovery, we are seeing His mercy and faithfulness at work. We truly believe God isn’t finished with this story yet. He is still working.

Please keep praying for:
🙏🏻 Her final lab to come back clear
🙏🏻 For her GVHD to be contained
🙏🏻 For our transplant friend Jayce

We’re praising God for this good news and we’re so thankful for the love and prayers you’ve poured over Teddie. The healing continues, one day at a time. 💛
