One more day of radiation to go. Through it all, Teddie has been SO brave. She gives anesthesia a real fight each time—her strength and humor is honestly something to behold. She asks the anesthesiologist to “make her spin more” when she gets her meds. Her spirit remains bright and cheerful. 

Tomorrow, the team plans to place a NG tube to support her nutrition. While it’s something we hoped we wouldn’t need, we’ve decided to move forward with it before the tougher side effects begin. We believe nourishing her body will support her in healing quicker. We want to make getting calories and taking her medications is as easy as possible in the coming weeks.

Huge thanks to Chick-fil-A! Our girl was hungry ALL day but she’s not able to eat until her afternoon treatment, usual 4:30ish. They saw Nick’s ACH parent badge and gifed us a family sized chicken strip. Teddie was so excited!
