Teddie’s Journey To A Cure
🧸 Day 70
Not a lot to report medically, but today was a win in other ways. Teddie had her best port access in a VERY long time and has been in great spirits all day. 🙌🏻
Her labs look good, and we’re waiting on her next chimerism results, which should be back around Thursday. We still haven’t heard from her donor yet.
At home, Teddie is feeling well, playing a lot, and having fun. She has been putting a lot of effort into picking out her outfits and accessories lately which has been fun. She has had some major hair regrowth, not blue or rainbow like she hoped but dark! 🌈
As summer winds down and everyone heads back to school, we can’t help but dream of the day when Teddie will do the same. We miss our Goddard family so much and look forward to when she can return. For now, she loves “playing school” at home. Yesterday’s lesson turned into a lively debate about whether the alphabet has 26 letters or just 5. She is a smart girl and sometimes likes to rewrite the rules, saying, “I think I just want there to be 5, it might be cool.” We’ve agreed to disagree for now. We love her imagination and her fire. 😅
We are so grateful for your continued love, prayers, and encouragement. Waiting to hear from her donor has been an emotional rollercoaster, but you all keep our family strong.
🙏 Please continue to pray for
▫️Increased donor chimerism
▫️Successful contact with her donor
▫️That her donor is able and willing
to continue his incredible support
Thank you for praying and sharing. Every prayer matters for our girl! 💛
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”
