Teddie’s chimerism from last week is back to 100% in all lines! For anyone new here, that means all of Teddie’s blood and immune cells are coming from her donor. This is one of the biggest signs her new marrow is doing its job. 

She’s started showing some skin GVHD (graft-versus-host disease) again. Mild GVHD often means her donor cells are active, strong, and ready to fight off any unwanted cells. The downside is that it can also attack her body. For her skin, it shows up as red patches that can be uncomfortable. Thankfully, right now it’s being managed well with steroid creams.

Teddie also has some nausea and a smaller appetite lately, but she’s been able to hold her weight steady 💪.

We’re so grateful for these steady steps forward, for her amazing donor, and for every prayer lifted for our girl.
