I just wanted to give an update for those who are following the updates. I had my cryoblation procedure on Wednesday 11/20. Everything went well and I am doing well. The trip leading up to my procedure almost didn’t happen though. On Tuesday at 1:30 we ran into car trouble and had to call a tow truck that didn’t arrive for 3 hrs. When we got to the car dealership in Augusta, GA, at around 5:15 they didn’t have any vehicles and all of the rental places were completely booked because FEMA had them all rented out. By this point we had 3 1/2 hrs still left to our destination with no way to get there. By this time I was in tears and I’m not a crier. I started wondering why is this happening? There were a lot of people praying for us and trying to help out from back home. We broke down at 1:30 and after getting an Uber to the airport, I phoned my friend Melissa back home whose husband Mike reminded her that Pastor Shane’s brother lived in Augusta. So I called Jennifer, Pastor Shane’s wife, around 6:40 and an hour later, Pastor Shane’s brother Pastor Steve was picking us up and took us to pick up a rental car from a friend of a friend. This was truly a miracle and it all came together rather quickly. We arrived in Myrtle beach at midnight and I had my procedure on time the following day. Everything went well! When we returned the car the following day, the kind man who had helped us out so graciously would not let us pay him. He said he had never done anything like this before in his life. He said normally he likes to meet people in person before they take his cars, but this wasn’t possible if we were going to make it to my appt. on time. I would like to think that God prompted this man to help us, I don’t know if there is any other explanation. We were in a desperate situation with no good options. We will be forever grateful for his kindness and generosity. This act of kindness will never be forgotten and this story will be told for years to come. Thank you Bill if you see this post you impacted our lives by your act of kindness. Thank you also to Melissa, Mike, Pastor Shane, Jennifer, and Pastor Steve, we couldn’t have done this without all of your help. I also want to thank my other family and friends who made calls and tried to help us. Thank you for all the prayers, love and support! We love you and are so grateful for you all! Most of all I want to give glory and praise to God for making everything happen the way it did. Nothing is by accident. I hope something great is a result of all of this. I know that it has shown me that God was right there with us the whole time.

This update was from Tami. Your continued prayers and support are truly appreciated. đź’•đź’•

I’m so happy that you called me that night! What a miracle that you ended up stranded where Pastor Shane’s brother lives and they were able to help you! God is good. I’m thankful you were able to have the procedure and focus on recovery now. Love you.
