Hello all!
What an outpouring of love we’ve received from all of you. We will steward your generosity well!
Dad was taken into surgery around 1:45 and they began to repair his tendon around 2:05, according to the teeny tiny screen in the family waiting room. We are hoping insurance will approve a brief hospital stay; this would allow Dad some time to work with Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists ahead of a month of being non-weight bearing on his left leg.
Mom slept well last night and seems to be settling in well. I’m going to go see her once we ascertain where dad will be headed.
