Someday He Will

One day, Isaac will be whole.
We pray it's here on Earth.

Today, I was in the kitchen and realized I had left my DP where I was sitting with Isaac.  I said "Isaac, bring me my Dr. Pepper!"
He laughed as he craned his neck to see my DP behind him.
I went back to kneading dough and he began to cry.

He sees.
He hears.
He knows.
He feels.

He felt I had given up on waiting for him.

There are so many layers to Isaac, like all children. But to see him struggle to do things that used to come easy, or cry because he knows he is a prisoner in his body, it literally kills me.

I pray this year holds physical blessings for Isaac.
We'd love to see him eat or sit up on his own.

I pray this year brings healing like we've never seen, even though it may feel like we aren't doing much.

Isaac may have a significantly reduced therapy schedule in 2026, but it may just be the rest we need to accept the things we cannot change.

We are dreaming of how nice it would be to do things as a family without being worn out before we even start.

We are dreaming.....ROLL IN....ROLL OUT!!!

Hang on Amy Jesus is there holding Isaac and you in His everlasting arms! He sees your heart and He knows how weary and worn out you are! He promises He will give you rest. When our granddaughter Sara was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 10 our family was turned upside down. Susan and Steve stayed with her at all times and I became a very active gramma to their son whenever they were with Sara.
Such difficult times yet God gives strength to hold on. All you can do is trust Him. We are not trained for these difficult situations all we can do is pray and trust Him. It would be wonderful if
You could have someone to relieve you for a couple of hours daily. That would give you a much needed break.

This certainly has been a very difficult few years for precious Isaac and all of you! His healing is slow, although he does continue to move forward. Like so many others I continue to keep him in my prayers.🙏
I did contribute toward the van. I hope you received it.

I'm so sorry about Sara, Ms. Gladys.
No parent or grandparent should have to watch an innocent child suffer. I wish I could take the pain away for so many.

Thank you both for making our load a little lighter with your love and encouragement ❤️

Thank you for the donations🙏

Praying with and for you Amy!
You are an encouragement, to many, and so open and honest about your victories/challenges and emotions. I know God sees you and hears your momma's heart cry.
