Verbal requests send Isaac into a tizzy. 
He over thinks things. 
He tries to send automatic movements through the cortex, but the cortex doesn't contain the body map. 

His cortex KNOWS where his hand is, but moving it comes from the cerebellum. 

For 5.5 years I've reached my hand out, asking Isaac to give me his. 

In 5.5 years, he's gone from not really responding --- to moving it just a little --- to (tonight) giving his hand to me in under a minute!

That is undeniable progress!!


I am forever thankful for advocacy Abby Zachritz!
She taught me that there are unlimited resources and grants for traditional services. I'm so glad God put all of this into place when he did.
