The Hematologist came by this morning and informed me that she had put in a GI consult. She also started me on iv fluids because I haven't been able to eat or drink much due to the continued nausea and they don't want me to get dehydrated. 

The GI consult was not helpful it was actually very irritating. The GI team was very dismissive. They barely let me explain my symptoms, talked over me and would look at each other and the computer while I was trying to explain what has been going on. They were questioning and being accusatory towards me for being on some of the medications I’m on. It was like they had their minds made up and a plan before they even came in the room. I’m very frustrated and upset. I burst into tears right after they left. I reached out to social work and patient experience though so hopefully they can help advocate. They did mention starting me on a new med for the gastroparesis but other than that no progress has been made. It is uncertain of when I will be able to go home.
