Surgery Day

Today is a very big day for Selene! A matching donor heart was found, and she is currently undergoing a partial heart transplant.

This is a relatively new procedure, with only about 20 performed worldwide. The hope is that the donor heart valve will grow with Selene as she grows, which could eliminate the need for additional heart surgeries until she is an adult. 

We are praising God for this incredible opportunity and praying for a successful surgery, steady healing, and the very best outcome for Selene.
