Post Surgery Update - Day 1

Hello everyone,

First, thank you to everyone who has reached out. I truly appreciate all of the prayers ❤️

Selene went into surgery yesterday for a partial heart transplant. This procedure is still very new, and she was only the second patient at Dell Children’s to receive one, so our girl is making medical history 🥹❤️

She went into surgery at 8:30 a.m. and came out around midnight. It was a very long, stressful day!! 😩 So far, her heart is healing well, but she still has a long road to recovery ahead of her.

Again, I appreciate everyone’s messages and prayers more than you know. Please continue to keep Selene in your prayers as she heals 🙏❤️
