Aria had her first post-op G-tube appointment today, and we’re thrilled to share that she has officially passed 30 pounds! In just a month and a half since getting her G-tube, she’s gained 3 pounds — such a huge milestone for a little girl who has stayed between 28–29 pounds for years. 

 

Because Aria only eats purées and hasn’t been able to drink in years, weight gain and hydration have always been a struggle. As much as we hoped she wouldn’t need a G-tube, we’re so grateful for the progress, the steady hydration, and fewer hospital visits for dehydration. Here’s to continued weight gain — and hopefully some height next! 💛
