Last summer, our great community sent us on a long, but amazing, two month long trip to Dr. Harch’s office in Louisiana for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. This was an incredible opportunity and a huge learning experience for us. We are very fortunate that we were able to take a chamber home to continue Scooter’s treatments. 

Some improvements we have seen over the past year include vision improvements. This is a BIG one for Scooter. He is now able to see farther away, track movements, focus both eyes at the same time, and will now reach for the object when he sees it. These things seem so normal and mundane. For Scooter this is huge! Another thing we noticed is temperature control. Before we started treatment, he would get over heated very easily. I’m talking shorts and a T-shirt in winter. 

Scooter has made so much progress with just this one tool. We are excited to explore other, alternative options that aren’t necessarily well-known or your typical treatment plan. 

Our goal in the winter is to try the stem-cell treatment located in Arizona and explore our options on Low-Level Laser Therapy. We are thankful for every therapy out there. The common and not so common ones! Thank you for being here and for your continuous support and prayers. It means the world!
