Today's pre-op appointment

❤️ Sam’s Pre-Op Update ❤️

This morning, we had Sam’s pre-op appointment, where we went over the procedure, what to expect, and how long everything will take. The appointment went well, and we’re happy to share that her surgery date is officially confirmed!

📅 Surgery Day: October 28th at 12:30 PM
🏥 We need to arrive at the hospital by 10:30 AM.

The surgery is expected to take approximately 6½ hours, followed by a one-night hospital stay. If all goes well, Sam should be able to come home the following day! ❤️

There will be no food after midnight and no water after 4:30 AM, so we’re already preparing for one very hangry Sam! 😂 Thankfully, Dale will have his coffee to help him survive the day. ☕️😆

And here’s the funny part: if everything goes according to plan, Sam will be coming home on Dale’s birthday! What a birthday present that would be! ❤️🎂

We’re feeling good after today’s appointment and are continuing to prepare for the big day. As October 28th gets closer, we’re so grateful for everyone who continues to follow Sam’s journey, send love, and support our family through all of this. Your kindness means more than you know. 💕
