Eve of surgery

Samantha's Breast Cancer Journey

Good evening, everyone ❤️

Today is the eve of Sam’s big day tomorrow, and it’s been a rough one for her. She battled a nasty headache for most of the day, but she’s been keeping herself busy this week by baking to help take her mind off the upcoming surgery.

If you missed her posts on Facebook, Sam has been busy in the kitchen making hamburger buns, hot dog rolls, everything bagel bread, cinnamon sugar bread, jalapeño cheddar bread, jalapeño cheddar bacon bread, and apple cider cinnamon bread! 🥖🍞 Needless to say, she’s been keeping herself busy!

Tonight, Sam and the girls are having a campout and a homemade spa night together, complete with a movie. ❤️ Hopefully, it will be a relaxing evening filled with laughter, love, and some much-needed quality time before tomorrow.

Sam may not want to admit it, but I can see the nervousness in her eyes. As tomorrow gets closer, I know there are a lot of emotions running through her mind. We’re taking things one day at a time and doing our best to keep her surrounded by love and support.

We truly appreciate every prayer, kind word, message, and bit of support you’ve all shown Sam and our family. It means more to us than you could ever know. 🙏❤️

We’ll share another update tomorrow before her surgery. Until then, please keep those prayers coming as we head into this next step. ❤️
