They are taking Samantha off of the ECHO machine this morning

She will be sleeping/resting for a bit. 

She’s doing really well this morning! She is alert and softly speaking. Has good humor. 

It’s a good day.

They just removed her feeding tube! Once she’s awake they’re going to let her start eating soft foods like jello, ice cream and apple sauce. She’s still pretty tired from getting her ECMO machine removed this morning.

She’s doing good! Little bit of a headache but they’re gonna hit her with some morphine and give her all her nighttime meds. So she will probably be out for the rest of the night lol. 

Hoping she can eat some more solid foods tomorrow
