We got a port! Last week.... That was a very long day. Started with chemo... NPO... Waiting for surgery it took a couple hours. They did a good job. I'm grateful he woke up and wasn't in a great deal of pain but was ready to get the heck out of the hospital. Healing this last week has kept us very busy. 

Today we went in and they accessed the port for the first time. He hated that. I wish there was something more I could do for him but be calmed down after a little while and all worked the way it was supposed to Thank God. We got some extra hydration that was needed because he hasn't been up for drinking as much lately. The new med is kinda hard on him 6MP they call it.... 

He hasn't been very hungry either but I'm hoping that will pick back up soon.

We met with the naturopath also today and I think she's really going to give us some great extra advice in keeping him more comfortable during this whole thing. 

We are doing the best we can and I guess that's all we can do right now. I'm so grateful for all the positive energy and prayers for Rowan 🙏🏻 more than you know.
