The Roundtree Family
Its been a rough couple days. The flu has zapped the energy out of all the adults, as well as made all the kids miserable.
Unfortunately but not unexpectedly, Auntie Tami's eldest dog, Rosie, also passed away. She was nearly 16 and the stress of not having the people around all the time like they are used to these last couple weeks has been hard on all the animals. She was already nearing the end of her life, but to lose her so shortly after everyone has been especially hard on the kids.
We have a couple follow up appointments tomorrow for the Youngest two, so hopefully we will be getting good news about how their bones are healing. We will then be making our way over to stay at a short term rental in Statesboro for another week while we prep the floors in the house to be less likely to snag wheels.
We also had a visit from the HR team at WL plastics bringing over Timothy's belongings. The children were grateful to have a hat that belonged to Dad, as well as being able to find his wedding band. We also have Kelsey's ring that is in one piece even after going through the cremation, and in a Bible that was left with Tims belongings was a note from Kelsey saying how much she loved Tim. We plan to get a display that note with the rings eventually, so that we can always have their love watching over their children's lives.
Miss you Brother. And thank goodness you have enough hats to go around (idk how he wore all 14 of them)
