Good morning, I apologize for not updating yesterday, it was very very busy because *drumroll please* ......
ALL THREE KIDS WERE DISCHARGED!!!!!
A little surprising for the Oldest brother, but we are so glad that they are out of the hospital and out and about.
Right now we are still in Savannah in a nearby rental house, and will be there for about a week as we finish prepping the kids house in Twins cities and slowly ease the kids into longer distances in the car. (As well as some follow up appointments) But thankfully we did really well with the short drive from the hospital to the rental, and we are doing really well with transferring from wheelchairs to seats in the car. Its definitely going to be a process, but they have all been so brave and wonderful during this whole process.
I will update a little later today after we discuss what kind of day to day care these kids will need without our wonderful nursing team around 24/7.
A special shout of to the team at the Children's Hospital in Savannah for handling our giant family and amount of friends and for taking such wonderful care of all the kids. We are really really grateful for everything that all of you have done in caring for these kids, we will definitely be back to visit AND FOR NO OTHER REASON 🤞
