I went live with this last month and was blessed by a few angels which allowed me to get caught up on most past due bills. However, the state still has not approved my benefits and I still have no income.
At this time, I have filed for SS disability with the support of my doctors. I’ve submitted a dire needs letter with my application as well to hopefully get my case reviewed quicker than usual.
That being said, we are still in need. Rent is once again late, phone and internet bills are due as well as water. I am applying for LIHEAP for the electric bill, but there is no guarantee I will be approved. Car registration is due, but tolls are owed.
If you are able to donate, please know that it is greatly appreciated and any amount goes directly to the most dire need. I chose this platform because I receive 100% of the donations. There are no fees associated with withdrawal and they do not keep any percentage.
If you know of any resources that I can contact, that information would be appreciated. I have tried many of “known” programs and charities. Most require proof of future income, which given my situation, is not possible.
