I have some good news! Rent for this month is paid, and it was only two days late. 🥴
I’m still uncertain about my LIHEAP approval for the electric bill. I have a little over a week until both internet and my phone are due, and water is past due.
My SSI/SSDI application is in the review stage, and I’m aware that it could take a while to receive the decision, and even then, it may be denied.
On a more somber note, since the state has not resolved my benefits issue despite the involvement of a state representative’s office, I’m forced to reassess my financial situation. The only expense I can realistically cut is football for the boys. It’s not just the cost of the sport itself, but the fees from gas and tolls that are currently unaffordable.
Conditioning starts next week, which means MANDATORY travel 25 min each way on a toll road three days a week. Unfortunately, unless I receive a miracle soon, the boys may have to take the year off from football.
