Major developmental gains! 💕

We are almost at the finish line of River’s month-long DMI intensive, and she is ending it with the BIGGEST progress! 🥹💗

When we started this intensive, independent standing was still something we were working toward. Now, River is starting to stand completely on her own for a few seconds at a time — and she’s even made it close to 10 seconds! 😭🙌

Those few seconds may seem small, but for River, they are HUGE. She is finding her balance, getting stronger, and showing us that her body is learning something brand new.

We are so incredibly proud of her and so thankful for every person who has donated, shared her story, or helped make these therapies possible. This is exactly why we keep fighting so hard to give her access to intensive therapy. 💕

One step closer to independent standing… and one step closer to WALKING. 🥹
