Lately River has really started figuring out how to get around the house and explore. She’s realized that when Mom or Dad leave a room, she can leave too and come find us.
The other day she found the dog’s water bowl and thought it was the coolest thing ever. She was splashing water everywhere and making a huge mess. 😂
Honestly, watching her get into things and make messes like a typical toddler is something we don’t take for granted. There was a time when we weren’t sure if we’d get to see these kinds of things. Now, every mess, every toy scattered across the floor, and every little adventure she goes on around the house makes us smile.
It’s one of those things you don’t really think about until it’s your child. Watching her become more independent and curious has been so much fun.
