Success!!! Riley now has a bi-ventricular heart ❤️  All her previous  surgeries have built to this, all her care,  all her growth,  and years and YEARS of prayer!!!!

We sat in this hospital 6 years ago when they told us of what conditions Riley would have,  how she'd have a short life span because of this heat condition,  and that kids like her don't have a path to recovery. 

But God...

But God knew the right time for her,  the right people to put in her path,  the right time for science and technology to expand to apply to include kids with Down Syndrome.  He gave Riley a heart that, although physically imperfect, gave her such a heart that gives love to everyone she meets, a heart that inspires and is strong in its own way.  Now her heart beats with a rhythm that proclaims the goodness of God, the God of the Impossible! 

All I can say now is thank you.  Thank you,  Lord. Thank you,  CHOP and everyone in it. Thank you family,  friends, doctors,  nurses, therapists, prayer warriors, donators- EVERYONE!!!  We made it to a place we could not see years ago,  and now we're here.  Thank you for what you did to help us get here.

Riley's journey is not over yet.  In fact, a whole new adventure is just beginning!
