Our shoe drop-off event is over… and as I sit here tonight, I just feel overwhelmed with gratitude. 

So many people showed up for Renna — some we knew, many we didn’t — and it reminded me once again how deeply she is loved by this community. 

But now that the event is behind us, our focus shifts back to the part that matters most… 

getting Renna the service dog who will change her life. 

If you know Renna, you know she brings joy everywhere she goes. She’s sweet, social, brave, and she works SO hard every single day. But life is still very hard for her. She needs almost full support with everything — walking, stairs, safety, communication, emotional regulation… and this dog will help her in ways I can barely put into words. 

This dog will be her anchor. 

Her comfort. 

Her safety. 

Her confidence. 

Her connection to the world. 

Her little heartbeat walking beside her. 

 

We are doing everything we can to raise the funds, and I’m learning that it’s the small gifts, the small shares, and the small acts of kindness that move mountains.
