🌟 Renna doesn’t need words to show just how much she understands.

At a birthday party this weekend, she spent time watching the other kids climb this giant inflatable slide. When they left to do a craft, she saw her chance — and made her move.

She knew exactly how to get up that slide. She may not have had quite enough strength to make it to the top, but she didn’t give up. She tried over and over again — more times than I even caught on my phone.

Renna is so smart. So determined. And so aware. 💜 She teaches me every day that just because a child is non-speaking doesn’t mean they aren’t fully engaged and capable.
