🌟 “Be kind, because everyone you meet is fighting their own battle.” That simple truth hits home for us more and more each day. 

Today was another fun visit to the splash pad for Renna—full of water, sunshine, and lots of very loud squeals of excitement. 💦💜 She doesn’t speak with words, but when she’s having fun, she makes sure the whole world knows it. 

Sometimes people stare. And honestly, there are moments when I wonder if they’re judging or unsure how to react to her loud, joyful expressions. But then I remind myself—Renna has every right to be there. She deserves to play, to be loud, to be noticed, and to be celebrated—just like any other child. 

 

And maybe—just maybe—those stares aren’t judgment. Maybe they’re seeing what I see: a little girl who radiates joy, who’s full of life, and who is beautifully and wonderfully made. 

 

To every parent out there navigating life with a child who has special needs, disabilities, or rare conditions like Pitt Hopkins—you are not alone.
