Please join us in prayer today as Sophie has her big surgery. Today she will undergo a knee reconstruction and have her femur bone hollowed out and filled with a type of bone substitute. I’m unsure of all of the details and may not even have these entirely correct but as I learn more I will post updates. 

Please pray for the doctors to be able to remove all of the cancer. Pray no cancer spreads. Pray for the doctors to handle everything easily and skillfully. Pray everything goes smoothly. Pray for peace for Sophie and for her parents and family and friends as she drives to the hospital, prepares to go under, and as her parents and family and friends sit and wait. Pray  for quick healing and that her pain is minimal if she has to have any at all. Ultimately pray for complete healing and for Sophie to soon be cancer free.
