Sweet Sophie is back at the hospital for another round of chemo, and we’re so thankful to share that her port was accessed smoothly this time which is a big answer to prayer! After some tough moments last week, this was a much-needed win.

On Friday, Sophie had a platelet transfusion that had to be stopped halfway through due to an allergic reaction that caused her throat to start closing up. Thankfully, the hospital team responded quickly, and she was treated and able to go home for the weekend to rest and recover. We are incredibly grateful for God’s protection and provision in that scary moment.

Through it all, Sophie’s faith remains strong. Her countdown for July is a beautiful reminder that God is with her, and the finish line is in sight. Chemo will continue until the end of August. She’s getting close!

Another exciting milestone: Sophie will be allowed to put 75%–100% of her weight on her leg next week! She hasn’t walked since December, so this is HUGE news and a massive step forward in her healing journey. We’re celebrating every bit of progress.

Please continue to pray for Sophie’s complete healing, for strength as she finishes this last stretch of chemo, and specifically that she’ll need no more (or very few) transfusions in the weeks ahead.

Thank you for loving our girl so well. 💛
